Assuming that the Angels make it to the ALCS, I will be able to get tix to game 6 or 7.
Would you take game 6, which is obviously more of a possibilty then game 7, or would you gamble, and take game 7, which would mean a whole lot of second guessing if the series doesn't go that far.

as someone who PRAYS this doesn't happen (seeing as it'll probably be the Sox v Angels in the ALDS) ... I will say, take game 6, just get in the building for one game, it's worth it.

I had World Series tix lined up for games 6 and 7 in 2005, but the White Sox swept. I went to game 2 and we got a ring, so I have not a single complaint. I'm just saying there's a possibility you won't get to 6 or 7 games.
I'm a CPA, so there is no way to go to games 1 or 2 since they are before the Oct 15th tax deadline. Being too busy to enjoy the playoffs, as well as the opening few weeks of the season, are a hazzard of the profession.
:(
White Sox haven't played to their potential all season and the Twins are surprisingly doing better than expected.
The playoffs are a whole new season.

it's a tough call, but the only thing better than game 7 of the ALCS is game 7 of the WS.
Sadly I'm not going to be able to use any of the tickets this year. :( I was supposed to be home for the playoffs...now looks like I'm missing the whole damn thing. The majority of my season tickets went to waste this year.
Are you sure it's the Championship Series and not the division series?
There are a lot of variables, they have to make it that far and they also have to make it to a Game 6.
If you want the 'safe' bet go for Game 6
but a Game 7 would be more exciting.

With that said, I would suggest game 6.
Don't you have to wait for the results of the ALDS? Who are they playing in the division series? No offense but MAN I hate the Angels.
You are a numbers person so I would venture to guess statistically you have a better shot at seeing a game 6. But a game 7-if they make it! Oh man! Game 7's are so exciting! I don't know if that's helpful. It depends on how adventurous you want to be

They're already doing the lottery to choose who gets a shot at ALCS tickets. The deadline already passed actually. All priority orders(season, mini-plan, 2009 deposit holders, etc) have been taken already and they'll sell what is left. They have an exact number of what they'll sell because as a season ticket holder I can only purchase a full sheet of ALDS, ALCS and World Series. I make one purchase and have all four of my seats for every game. They mail you the tickets all attached on one sheet and whatever isn't used you get refunded.
They've always done it this way. Even back when they were shitty, as a season ticket holder you had to purchase your tickets before the regular season was over.
