The gf and I are going to Lollapalooza in August:
Are there any good Persian or Indian restaurants downtown?
What are some good independent steak houses (as opposed to Mortons, Ruth' Chris, etc)?
Does anyone have a source for Cubs tix for Aug 2nd? I am willing to pay over face value, but am trying to avoid buying them from ebay, stubhub, etc.
Thanks!

Yum!!! I've been there on Valentines day and Mother's day.. They are WONDERFUL!
Thanks!
I wish I could help. I've lived in and around the city my whole life and have only been to a handful of restaurants.. I love the food and beer at Goose Island though! I'm not familiar with any Indian restaurants. I like Giordanos and Pizzeria Uno though.

Good luck!
Go Sox!
For Cubs tickets just use chicago.craigslist.com or even better just hang around the park before the game..always tons of tickets being sold.
For Ribs, Carsons
For Pizza, Pizzeria Uno, Pizzeria Due, Gino's East or Giordanos
For Hot Dogs, Anywhere, preferably somewhere that has a Vienna Beef sign and also says Maxwell Street. Just remember, no ketchup.
For Baseball, forget wasting your time and money at Wrigley.....the Sox play Detroit on Aug 5th. Go to that. Take the Red Line south to the Cell.
