Anyone use a housekeeper/maid?

I finally broke down and had a housekeeper come clean my place......damn, what a thorough cleaning...I don't want to use the kitchen or bathroom, cuz they are too pristine!

    That is awesome although I am not sure how I would feel about someone else being in my place or wondering if they would things to my liking.... although sounds like s/he did :) Awesome though... guess there will be lots of take away this week ;):)

    i used to have one named ROSA. I like to call her Lucy instead. I also know a really good housekeeper so if anyone needs her services, holla. And NO, she is NOT HOTT and is NOT young!!!!

    nope, it was a husband/wife team...no outfits!

    The girlfriend and I go to Chicago on Friday for Lollapalooza, so its my goal to keep the place tidy so that I return to a clean home!

    With three kids and Mrs. Merkinball and I both working, we broke down a few months ago. Best thing we ever did, makes the weekends a lot easier when we aren't spending one of the days cleaning the house.

    I used to. I sure would like to again. She came every other Saturday and cleaned the kitchen, bathrooms, and floors. It freed up our time to be doing other things. I don't remember what she charged but it was affordable and well worth it since it relieved a lot of the stress on my husband and me.

    someday i will, i think it would be soooo worth it. right now though, just not a part of the budget. i would LOVE it tho! although i do wonder how it would work with our 2 dogs. eh well, worry about it when the luxurious day arrives that i finally get a housekeeper. :)

    I'm considering getting one for just like a one-day thorough cleaning. I live in an old house and there is just some dirt and grime around the edges that I just don't have the skill or motivation to get at.

    My boss had 2 housekeepers!

    One on Fridays and one on Mondays.. makes no sense to me. But hey..

    I'm the maid in my house :(

    I've never had one...but one day I would love to pay someone to clean and iron my clothes. Not really sure how that will work out though since I don't like people touching my stuff :p
