I've been experimenting of late.....have cooked Jerk Chicken, Congolease Peanut/tomato sauce chicken, as well as penne pasta with a spicy creamy curry sauce.

For myself I made a stuffed artichoke, roasted asparagus and steamed lobster.Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away0 -
Steamed up seven 3+ pound lobsters, soft shelled steamer clams, marinated grilled baby artichokes, spinach salad with mandarin oranges and red onion. Dessert was strawberry/blue berry shortcakes with whipped cream.

I forgot to add that the rosemary and lemons are from my garden...that makes it even fancier in my opinion.

Probably doesn't count as a fancy meal but yesterday I cooked a chicken soup myself (and I'm not talking about some dried out shit in a microwave). I mean a real soup with potatoes, carrot, onions, pasta and chicken breast.Don't go messing with machoes!0

Had a grilling extravaganza on Sunday... cooked for 7 of my buddies for our weekly rotating BBQ and beer get-together:
-- 3 slabs of beef ribs (I normally do pork ribs, but when I can get 3 slabs of beef ribs for $10, we go with beef) with a dry rub... no sauce.
-- Sweet corn... had to boil it in the house 'cause I ran out of room on the grill
-- Bratwurst boiled on the grill in a Miller Lite and a sliced Vidalia onion bath and then finished off on the grates
-- 25 chicken legs and 8 turkey wings with a rub concoction of garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, chili powder, onion powder and oregano
I was proud of myself because I didn't burn a damn thing and I was pounding beers the whole time I was cooking. I'm becoming more and more like my old man every day.0 -
