what a horrible day

I come home to hear that my 46-year-old uncle has suffered a mild stroke.....he can't lift one of his arms and his speech is slurred. 46-year-olds shouldn't have these things.....

Then I go over to my grandparents' later on to see that they are not there. I call up my grandfather and he's up the hospital with my grandmother, who thought she might have had a heartattack. (Thankfully those tests came up negative and she is alright, but they are going to run tests on other things. She has had a history of heart trouble).

Oh and yeah, I just read that a kid two years behind me at college died a couple weeks ago from complications related to diabetes. They found him dead in his apartment at age 20.

I am a God-loving man, but these things can test your faith sometimes. Today really sucked.
