Does anyone know why some states have primaries and others don't? I live in PA and we do not have a primary.

I know, I should know this as an American, but apparently I failed my US Government class. :)

    Yeah, I'm an idiot. :D

I haven't lived in PA very long, so I was wondering why there hasn't been a peep about our primaries yet.

    You're not an idiot! :)

I'm seriously just learning about how all of this stuff works, too. :o:D

    We can learn together!

I grew up in New York, and I'm used to their primaries being, well, now. Now that I live in PA, I was confused not hearing ANYTHING about our primaries.
