Unfortunately the newswires never stop, so i'm stuck here. Although gettin paid double time isn't bad when you're doing jack shit, and prolly will be let out early anyways. This board is my work today.

You can always check your bracket. I assume literally every person on the planet filled one out...

honest to god, i'm on overload this week.

i have work today. they used to give us good friday off, but now we get the personal day to use whenever instead. while i don't feel like working today i'd rather use it when i want...like...say....june....when i have concerts to attend. :D

brackets is a term used during the nationwide (ncaa) college basketball tournament that is currently going on here in the states. it has become a sort of tradition to select the winners of each game before the tournament starts. there are 64 teams in the tournament, and these teams are divided up into 4 sections geographically. when matched up on paper, it looks a bit like 'brackets'...check out this visual.

anyway, it's become a bit of a contest amongst families, friends, co-workers, etc to fill these brackets out and see who picks the most winners, culminating in the championship game.

BTW - UConn won it all in 1999 and 2004. Go Huskies!!!

(gawd i'm bored...sorry for the long winded post!)
