Yeah, but a ferry ride over from NYC makes it basically NYC to me I know New Yorkers don't like to associate themselves with Jersey.
Bunch of my good friends are from NYC so it'll be a good time.
BTW, the link is http://www.boltbus.com I've read reviews online and they've been good so far. Much better than Chinatown buses, as it is run by Greyhound.

that bolt seems to only be between east coast cities... but id love to be able to make a east coast show if theres an affordable way
still not sure how its possible financially??
is the inside of the bus covered with advertisements??

Unfortunately, the only bus service (that I know of) with a midwest-to-east coast route is Greyhound. Megabus will be soon expanding to Buffalo, but routes from there will only go north and east. You could take Megabus to Cleveland, Greyhound (or Amtrak) from Cleveland to Buffalo, Megabus from Buffalo to NYC, and then a Chinatown bus from NY to another East Coast city - and I guarantee you that the Cleveland-to-Buffalo leg on Greyhound would cost more than the rest of the trip combined!
Or you could always fly and take a low-cost carrier from O'Hare to JFK, Newark or LaGuardia.
