Best way to start off a morning........

Since I have to get up at 5am for work, I like to get nice and caffinated. A huge Dunkin Donuts coffee and sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a bagel. I could die a happy man.

And I probably will from the ensuing heartattack.

    I think i need to start getting my caffeine BEFORE my commute, and not once I get to the office. I caught myself closing my eyes about 5 times on the way in this morning. Stay off 95N around 6:30am, unless you see me with a coffee.

    Yeah, I am always sure to stop off and get a coffee before I hit the office. Not only does it help the drive a bit, but I'm not completely dead when I walk into the office at 6am.

    I stop for a large coffee every morning as well. Although I hate really hot coffee. I let it cool down for about 20 - 30 minutes before I drink it.

    I was introduced to Mate by my gf a few weeks ago and can't go a morning without it! Amazing caffeine boost without the after taste and bad breath of coffee!

    aaaaah ....... it's "donuts" none of that fancy spelling for dunkies!

    Now living on the west coast ... it's such a chore to find a good cup of coffee for under $3.50 ...

    A little over a year ago, me and my girl were on a trip in Santa Fe, NM ... and as we were driving, I started to absolutely freak out ....

    Her .... "What the hell is wrong with you?"

    Me ... "Look .... there .... it's .... it's .... it's a fuggin DUNKIES!!!!"

    Her .... "um ... yeah, so."

    I then go on this 15 minute diatribe about how I've been drinking dunkies since I was in college (early 90s), and since I moved out to the west coast (2004), it's been such a chore to find good coffee that doesn't cost so damn much .... and that, I can name every location for dunkies at Logan Airport when I go back home and when I take red-eyes back, I always hit one up first thing off the plane ... then I told her each morning, we will go to THIS Santa Fe Dunkies and get coffee, and I was REALLY giddy ... and on and on I went ....

    (edit - note, there are no more dunkies in California .... gone a long time back)

    Then ... I finished ........................ 5 minutes of silence............

    Finally .....

    Her .... "I'm really dating you? Like, for real?"

    :D

    (edit - oh, one more thing, I made her let me take a picture of her with the dunkies sign and our rental car with the New Mexico plates. love that picture!!!)
