Anyone see the Absolut billboard ad running in mexico? What the hell is everyone getting so upset about and wanting to boycott Absolut now...damn people need to lighten up. If I was living in Mexico, I'd get a kick out of the ad and think it's great. But noooo we can't offend people here. Who gives a shit, it's not an ad for people in the US.

It’s a pretty accurate depiction if you look at it in a, I’m not sure how to word it, but if you look at it without borders, if the green represented the up and coming majority race (legal or otherwise)…do you follow?

Otherwise, it’s some funny ass shit.

LOL yeah, I get it. I thought it was a great ad, it cracked me up. But now there's people around here in So Cal trying to oppose it, trying to boycott Abosolut, so on and so forth. I guess Absolut came out an apologized for it, which I don't think they should have done.

I just can't get over that it's not even in the US(well maybe it is in my old neighborhood, they ran a lot of Mexican ads there) yet they're still trying to get rid of it. Ugh, whatever. But yes, funny.

i forget which news show i saw this on a few weeks back?
seems like a big deal was being made... it's not like absolut is known for it's serious advertising so i guess people should consider the source instead of getting worked up...

I'm not offended but I think it's stupid and bullshit!

Why don't Mexico give their land back to the Aztecs because Cortez pretty much invade that region.

I keep reading all this crap about US divisions, Vermont wanting to become its own nation, the Natives in the Dakota area wants their region to be their own.
I'm just sick and tired of all this anti-American sentiments.
