How about Jumanji? My older, she's 19 now, loved it when she was little and now my littles, 5-9 , love it.

Of course my 6 year old loves the Evil dead series and the Horror Fest series, but he may be different.

I'm watching Homeward Bound on TV right now. This movie always made me cry buckets when I was little.

    Damn you, Disney.

kevinbeetle: "Yes. When her career washes up and her and Gavin move to Galveston, you will meet her at Hot Topic shopping for a Japanese cheerleader outfit.

One of those few book-to-film examples that totally destroys the book. The final line is one of the all-time greats: "I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?"

    I did admittedly but it's a wonderful sentiment :)

    Also, River Phoenix was terrific.
