man, if i go away, no matter how long.....i call my husband to tell him i arrive safely and never call again until i am heading home. he usually does the same. neither he nor i *expect* phone calls when away separately for work or vacation. hell, i was away for 6 weeks and NEVER called, just sent a few emails - i was living abroad and it is pricey! he went away for 2 months for job training and called once a week, b/c he WANTED to...not b/c he had to.
relax.......give it time....don't jump to conclusions. NEXT time, clearly identify your desires. lesson learned.
