Question for the ladies

So i went out on a second date with this girl a couple of days ago... She's cool, very laid back, blah, blah, blah... So we end up doing the deed and I spend the night at her place or whatever. I leave the net morning and she starts texting me asking me when the last time I had sex was... I told her St Patty's day and then asked her when she had... Shed answered with the same response as mine... Then like an hour later she asked me how many people I had been with and at first I just said 60 to shut her up and then she persisted to know... So i answered (i wont tell you how many) and asked how many she had been with and she responds with the same as mine give or take. At first I didn't think anything of it, then I thought is she bullshitting me? Is it like give or take one or give or take 15. So i guess my question ladies is do women in general lie about this sort of thing to not make themselves look like whores or is she being honest. I just thought it was weird she would basically give me the same answers I gave her???

    hmmmmm.....I personally haven't lied about that but I'm also unlikely to answer (or ask) that with someone I don't know well. If I don't want to tell you, I'll say so. Not because I'm embarrassed or ashamed, just that some men think it's a kinky question to ask then they're pissed that I'm not the Virgin Mary. If you don't have the sack to handle the answer, don't ask the question. I do think it's odd she waits for your answer then gives you the same answer you did. I also think it's weird she was texting you that. More of a face-to-face, pillow talk conversation in my book. but that's just me.
    believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

    As woman i agree. I remember when my first boyfriend many years ago asked me with disbelief if he really was my first...
    And from the other side - i don't know why some people ask about such of these things? This is not so important thing You should know about the other person (especially when You just begun)
    Well, anyway, I guess she lied - she propably didn't believe in this what You said, and wanted to lied You the same way... maybe. Or... I don't know

    What are the odds that the last time was on the same day, and the number is exactly (give or take) the same?
    She's probably on one side of the spectrum. She's either been around quite a bit or hasn't been with too many dudes.

    Oh well, if you like her I guess that's all that matters.

    It could be true, I'd bet St Patty's day is a popular night for drunken hookups. Honestly, if you both are being safe and the sex is good, just enjoy it; you might be reading too much into it. If it takes a turn toward the serious after a while then you could approach the subject again and ask her to answer first.

    On the other hand, this brings up the age-old question "is there any tread left on the tire or is it like throwing a hotdog down the hallway?" if this is the case, then I would recommend bailing.

    yeah, i'm going to have to go with the "she's bs'ing" group. seriously, what are the odds you two have the same answers for those questions.

    i also agree those are weird questions to ask AFTERwards. and via text message. It's one thing to ask that early if you want to know beforehand... but it seems like asking about it right after is kind of looking for trouble or something. :confused:

    I thought the rule of 3's applies here:

    Take the number of men a woman claims to have slept with and multiply by 3 = true number of partners

    Take the number of women a man claims to have slept with and divide by 3 = true number of partners

    That's only relative to who they are speaking with.

    I'm pretty sure a lot of men (around other men) will fabricate their number.
    Men around women (or asked by a women) will probably low-ball it a bit.
    Women are probably pretty accurate around other women...especially friends but def. low ball it around men.
