What are the correct Hard to Imagine lyrics?

Having listened to studio and live the 2nd verse is different.

Anyone know the correct ones?

Why are the websites wrong :S

I just think its the 2nd verse thats wrong.

Just think its cool how eddie changes certain lines and misses out certain words. Just listen to msg 1 and you really dont hear the first line clearly :P

    First verse changes to "using only grey" in the studio. Second verse changes to "Tear into yourself, count days on your arm... heart a-beating, ticking like a bomb".
    Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

    There are early demos out there with different lyrics.

    going blind on this,
    but those lyrics for the 2nd verse look like the lyrics for the Vs. Demo version of the song .

    pps. that is the "best" version, imho.

    I'll be honest I have slowed it down, repeated 100s of times and I can still never hear what the fuck he is mumbling, here is my best gues after countless tries:
