So, I was in a focus group for a tv pilot

It's called worst week. Basically, it's Meet The Parents in cheesy sitcom form. It sucked. I slated it, and now I'm seeing billboards for it. God Damn it! :mad:

    i've seen a bunch of commercials for that show....
    it looks very bad.

    Hell yeah I did. There was a bunch of idiots in the group who were laughing really hard all the way through though. I guess there's a market in America for crap inoffensive middle of the road comedy that isn't really funny at all.

    ive done a couple of those pilot focus groups. it was fun, but i never saw the shows air.

    also, im in this big data base for other product demographic research, its a good gig, 75 bucks for two hours of your time and you get food! sign up, its worth it.

    wasnt there some english show by this name. i recall it filling up time on my wednesday night between shows i actually wanted to watch. is the format one episode=one day. or something like that? and the couple are coming up to their wedding? i recall the girls parents not especially enarmoured of their son-in-law to be. i could be mistaken, im sick and my heads not working well atm. :)

    That's exactly it. I didn't realise it was a rip-off/remake of a British show. Either way, it's crap.

    focus groups for TV Pilots isnt about the show its about the commercials. they want you to watch the commercials and rate the product more than the show. I went to one once and it was for a show with some old actress trying to make a comback...
