Greenpeace are having a vote to name a whale they have 'adopted'. All the options are the names of ancient gods of the sea and so forth. And then there's 'Mister Splashy Pants'. Please vote 'Mister Splashy Pants'.

    I actually preferred Manami but I voted Mister SplashyPants anyway.

    Why can't they just choose an english name like Dave or Bob or something... none of this "Freedom in Spanish" malarky!

    You can't call a whale Dave! (I called my cat Anchovy. I'm all for unusual names for pets and animals).

    have to admit, I almost hesitated and couldn't decide between Veikko, Jacques and Mr. Splashy Pants. :eek: just cause I like mr. Cousteau and cause the *wow* effect seeing a Finnish name caused. :p


    but I finally made the right decision. :D
