    i simply texted the girl who's bday it is, asking what time she was getting to the bar for the party, and she was completely clueless.

    i am getting angry phone calls from the people who arranged the suprise.

    it was never made clear to me that it was a suprise. i can't feel bad if i didn't know.

    You didn't ruin a surprise party, just the surprise. :)

    They should just get over it, anyone that's ever organized a surprise party knows it's all about subtefuge and plan b's. So they should be able to wangle some kind of story to recover and even if they don't just go and have fun! :)
