That game may be the biggest reason to own a Wii.

There have been some decent games for it so far *and I stress decent* but Mario Galaxy is incredible!

I don't have a Wii yet, but I will for THIS game!

I almost just ran to Gamestop to pick this up... I am still working on Resident Evil 4, I guess Mario Galaxy will have to wait, I want to beat Resident Evil! I love it!
Madden is decent too! I haven't tried Mario Galaxy yet!

yeah, this game is the main reason why i asked my girlfriend to get me a wii for christmas. this game is just incredible. i played it for like 4 hours straight one night and it seemed like i was only sitting down for 20 minutes.

Yep. I played it the other night for about 2 hours. Fun as hell!
I think the PS3 and 360 are better systems and offer more, but you cannot argue the greatness of that game.
I will get that system for that game!

It is a blast... I just got a Wii for Christmas and between SMG, Zelda, Metroid, and a few others (not to mention still giving lots of love to my 360), I haven't made a lot of progress on any of them... lol

have 116 stars, need 4 more to get Luigi unlocked, kinda given up though for the moment as those purple stars are frickin tough

been playing resident evil 4 and it's pretty good as well

my wife was halfway through resident evil when i got her galaxy. she wants to finish evil but she is quickly falling for galaxy.

we went to a party for new years eve and took the wii. a bunch of drunk people playing bowling, boxing, and brain academy. fun. the next day we played we with a friend and her parents who now are looking at buying one.

oh and my parents got in a fight because my stepfather beat her by about 3 points about 5 times in wii bowling and my mom swears he's cheating somehow.

if more wii's were available i would know a lot of people young and older with them.

if you haven't played the brain academy game i recommend it. it like brain food.

Looks like they kicked the whole Mario scenario up a notch...a big notch.

I did. It was fun, but I'm not a huge Zelda fan.

I have two chapters left on Super Paper Mario then I am starting Mario Galaxy. I have it but I haven't opened it yet. I know if I start it, I won't finish Paper and I have come so far on that one.

Mario Galaxy is awesome. Also check out resident evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. It’s pretty sweet, especially with the Wii zapper.

hell yeah. there are a total of 120 stars, but you only need 60 to fight bowser and end the game. i currently have 74 stars... i am going to try and get all 120 before i end the game, but i don't know if i can wait that long!

I played it at a friend's house and ugh...fucking hate it. all that stupid intro bullshit. Level 1 didnt start until about an hour into the game...and when i finally got there, i was so disgusted by how much time i wasted, that i quit and went home. i'll never understand how some people can sit through that crap wasting their lives.

sports vid games are the ones that hold my interest nowadays.

Anyone play Mario vs. Sonic yet? I'm thinking about picking that one up, as wii sports/ wii play gets a lot of play time at my house.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

^^^ That's a gross exaggeration. The intro was lame and so is the story, but it does not eat an hour of your time. It's 20 minutes tops and half of it was interaction anyway.

You really should give it more of a chance because it's really fun and addicting, and it also gets really fucking hard (haven't had trouble with a Mario game since SMB3, but there were a couple stars/shines in 64 and Sunshine that were hard too). I like a challenge here and there :)

102 stars, going for 120 eventually.

Are you talking about Paper Mario or Galaxy? I don't remember the intro to Galaxy being long, but the intro to Paper was incredibly tedious. It did take a long time.

Super Paper Mario was way, way too wordy.
