    i dunno if it was because of the rain - but today was brutal ... cars pulling out in front of me - cars pinching the bike lane ...

    Bike lanes? What are those? ;)

    You know, it is funny, I will go for a while without any close calls. Then I will have one after another. About 4 years ago I had some really close calls, and quit road riding so much. I did more rails to trails and mountain biking. Then I got over it and I am back on the road.

    there was a federal patrol car right next to those guys serving as an escort since it was on a federal highway. There was a bigger picture where you could see it.


    they say it happened so fast he had not time to react and at least put his patrol car in the way.
