I just bought this fancy smancy honda generator for my place....go home for lunch to fire it up and lo and behold I lost the friggin keys....now I have to drive (100km total) to go buy two more.

yes the one I was using was loud and a piece of crap so I went out and bought a nice quiet Honda 3000 with an inverter, probably the best generator you can by on the market....but I paid through the ass for the thing (insert joke here).
Buying a generator with an inverter is the way to go, its good for the environment and if you camp lots, its likely most campsite are soon to announce that they will not allow generators in their campgrounds without an inverter, mainly cause non-inverted generators are loud and worse on the environment.
