Question about stocks...

Hopefully there is a broker or two on these boards...

I used to work for McDonalds and had the stock option so it was automatically taken out of my pay check and put into the shares of the stock. Every few months I get something in the mail from them but right now I wanna see how many stocks I have and to know if I can sell it but I have no idea how to get that info since I dont have a broker.

What can I do?

    Do you have options or stocks? They are actually a bit different.

    If you have the options it's a bit of a different ballgame. If you have the stock you can just call whatever 1-800 number is on your last statement and they can give that to you. Number of shares * Price = dollar value.

    The options situation is a bit different and is still a good thing to have, maybe better depending on what their price is. Shoot me a PM with some specifics and I can help you even more.

    Hey thanks for the advice- I found out the 1-800 # off the web site, I didnt even know where to start- thanks a lot.
