  • not gonna lie, i'm disappointed, but i realize that there are risks that come with starting a freshman quarterback, and that fumble basically decided the game. i am happy with that throw that ended the game, though. took some balls, and as me and many of my friends agreed, it wasn't a dumb throw, just a poorly executed throw. 3 feet further and thats a touchdown. that being said, i have some great expectations for the future, and penn state, good luck, represent the big 10 well, im sick of being hated on. we cant control who's in our conference

I disagree, throwing into triple coverage when Sargent had 5 yards on the guy toward the sideline was a freshman instinct to get it all in one play.

it seems when psu manages to beat osu, its because psu's d line strips the qb at a crucial time (2005). i do agree with abc though it was hold city for the o line on both sides last night :)

why!?!!? thanks for ruining the BCS title game again Ohio State, this time by putting a crappy friggin' team in rather than being the crappy friggin' team. The game should be between UT/OU/USC and UA/UGA, and it would be a ridiculous matchup...instead we get stuck with a stupid beatdown.

What do you expect with two incredibly talented defenses. And throwing into triple coverage is a classic example of the Hail Mary!If Hartline caught it Pryor would have been called a genius.

Pryor will still be a great QB. Losing to Penn State is what happens when you bench your senior QB for a Freshman; the rewards of that will not happen for another year or 2. Penn State is having a great year, but the future is still Ohio State

Well, Iowa has a big battle ahead of them this weekend two things that Iowa has in their favor are:

    a) The weather. It's calling for snow and rain showers with a high of 42 on Saturday. This should def. benefit Iowa. Iowa is very much a "run first" team with big Shonn Green running over guys this year. It should also slow down Penn's
    passing game.
    b) Kinnick Stadium. Kinnick is a tough stadium to play at on the road for a lot of teams. A lot of big teams running for the national title have fallen at Kinnick in the last 4-5 years.

I think it is going to be an exciting game and a lot closer than many people think.

I'm also going to be there, so I'm extra PUMPED!!! :)
(My college friends who are spread around the country make our annual pilgrimage to Iowa City for a weekend/football/tailgate.)

    Go Hawks!!
