    so be it, because he plays with a lot of heart...but his antics are shit, and the crap he pulled in the devils series is disrespecting to the game of hockey.

    It wasn't against the rules when he did it, so who cares? It's a game, and he used a completely legal (at the time) tactic to best his opponent. Disrespectful? No. I'd file it under "creative."

    And plus, disrespecting the game of hockey? Are you serious? This is a sport where two grown men are given a slap on the wrist for fighting each other. In any other sport (where the point of the sport is NOT fighting,) you would be, at best, suspended for the rest of the year. If you did it in the streets, you'd go to jail. It takes one hell of a lot more than a guy screening a goalie with his stick to disrespect the game of hockey.

    And yeah, I'm a Rangers fan. And while I hope we have Avery for a long time to come, I'll still cheer him on no matter what city he plays in (unless it's New Jersey.)
