running game is not much help with no one to block for them.

haha yes i know, although i don't think Mendenhall needs blocking because he's built like a tank.

Yeah, I think he is a good back, I just wish the Steelers had traded up for a lineman, or traded down for more picks- either would have been better for them

i was hoping the Eagles would have selected him, end our redzone problems. We just traded our 4th rd pick to the Phins for Lorenzo Booker.

damn so now we don't have a 2nd or a 4th. crap. so we're done today unless we trade back into the 2nd round. damn I guess 3rd round might be a receiver. I wouldn't mind picking up Jordy Nelson from KSU tomorrow.

Two good things about this draft- the speed of the first round, and all the trades so far.

All I have to say is, if you were at the draft today and I saw you on TV, you are a fucking idiot.

I love football, it IS great but I just cannot fathom who these people can be so excited for a guy who has never even taken a snap in the NFL.

I take that back, if there is alcohol involved then I completely understand. If not, then see above.

hmmmmm that pick was a reach by the cowboys. but its a need and i like it. cowboys should pick up a wr in the next few rounds and maybe a cb or s

    Falcons draft sucks... a lot.

Kansas City is owning this draft.
we will see.....kc still does not have a qb.
live and let live...unless it violates the pearligious doctrine.

not sure what the Cowboys are thinking....... trading out of the 3rd round when Manningham a.k.a. Smokingham AND Andre Caldwell are BOTH there.

BUT we did pick up an extra fourth this year and next year.

anyone know what we (Cowboys) traded our 4th round pick from the Dolphins to the Raiders for?

and now the Cowboys trade ANOTHER pick to the Browns. Do the Cowboys not feel like drafting anyone today??

I like Jared Allen but the Chiefs got a helluva deal but they shouldve taken Brohm in the second rd

I watched a good amount of it yesterday & a little today.
As a Jets fan, our picks usually never work out & if they are good (Abraham or Vilma) we end up trading them in a few years........I hope this year is different. I was pretty happy with their picks.
    My lips are shaking.......

    here's an interesting thing.

The Chicago Bears have had 28 draft picks in the last 3 seasons (12 this year)......0 of them have been QB's.

Not sure what is is but my buddies and i enjoy getting together on draft day and throwing down some drinks.

we usually go to Jack Russell's in Manhattan (82th and 2nd i believe) and it's always fun because we have 2 pats fan, 2 cowboys fans, a giants fan, and a chiefs fan, and have some other friends that add to that if they come.

of course we then stayed and watched the sox and celts games at the same time. 10 hrs in a bar is a long long time :)

With their track record of drafting QBs, I guess I can understand why they are a little gun shy
