Wow, a year already! Remember you must make it to Bellingham and "finish" your tour of the west before you move back east. :D I'll bet you're excited for your Christmas time visit. :)

    I actually don't hate T.O. :o

BD, that isn't old but I am just not sure what fab restaurants and stuff were around then.

Hmmm. We really did have some great meals! I will try and search it out! But one of the best things we did at night was this great comedy troupe that performed in Charlottetown!

The only laugh I had in that marriage

The comedy troupe was a sarcastic take-off on Anne of Green Gables. Hysterical!

Have enough people died who read that book that those green tour buses went out of business (I hope!)

LOL Annekenstein right? Hilarious. A guy from that is in a new comedy troupe and they still make fun of Anne in some sketches.

I know. Hard to believe!! For sure I must come visit Bellingham. Maybe I will do a little Seattle/Bellingham journey next year although I am really trying to decide between Europe and Oz so I best be saving for that! I am SO excited to be home for Christmas. See my nephew... met my new nephew. I will be so happy to see my friends and family there.

to what? ... people who hate on us? ... not at all ... i remember golfing in edmonton and when the guy i got paired with found out i was from toronto - he spent the next 8 holes berating the city - then i found out he's only spent 2 days there and never left his hotel room by the airport ... haha ...

i think it's great here but i generally won't get defensive about it to strangers ...

No, I meant to my joke. Given your explanation here, I'll take that as a 'no' ;)
That must have been a fun 8 rounds of golf...

I left my little island on the East Coast and moved to Calgary. Crazy. I can't believe it has been a year already. Plenty of ups and downs but well worth the move I think. I see myself back east eventually but for now I am here... still reluctant to call it home :p

I got you a present for your milestone ;)

Haha...only because most people here wouldn't know Amherst.
I'm glad you mean the NB one...the NS one is disgusting. We refer to it as the Dirty Sack.
I went home to Halifax for a vacation with my bf last summer, he'd never been there before. He absolutely loves the Trailer Park Boys so I told him I'd show him where they filmed it and he said he didn't know that it was actually filmed in Halifax. I said 'it's not, it's in the Dirty Sack.' and he laughed his balls off.
