The Christmas tree, I wish I was the star that went on top


I just wish I was going home for Christmas! Seeing my family and going to the big NY's Eve eve bash I always go to!! :(

I get to spend it with my family out here but not the same. I am going to miss my gran's lobster sandwiches on Christmas eve too.

    I wish that I could spend christmas eve with my whole family like I used to...ever since my cousins started having kids, my immediate family has been rather abandoned on the holidays. it kinda sucks.

    I feel like I am a hundred thinking "things aren't how they were when I was a kid" but it is true hey? :o

    aw sorry dear. i know i wish i had everybody i loved right beside me, and my family's scattered all over the globe.

    just enjoy the moment while you can i suppose....and drink when appropriate. or not :D haha cheers to ya luv!

    As a friend said to me that to start new traditions you have to let go of the old ones and as much as I hate to tell him that he is right :p he does have a good point.

    I am lucky though and I will be with family so I will be good.. oh and drink when appropriate :D I hope things are well with you.

    haha well your friend does have wise words, maybe still appreciating the old traditions when you can, and savor new ones at the same time :)

    things are alright here, the phrase 'things could always be better, and could always be worse' rolls thru my coconut lol

    Haha, I don't blame you. Lobster sandwiches sound wonderful! Maybe you'll find something better, although I can't imagine what! Have fun though and come visit in the New Year. :)

    yeah it is. I mean I just get really pissed at how insular suburban couples with kids have gotten these days. they act like they don't need anyone else on the planet.
