  • It just popped into my head to search it yesterday...thought it was appropriate :)
I wonder what the age cut-off is for people that would remember it?

indeed appropriate. :) i'm not sure...it's been ages since i've seen it on cbc or anywhere, actually...born in the 70's i would guess? maybe?

another classic your post inspried me to look for. :)

    Happy Canada Day!

    It's kinda complicated:

But we celebrate it like the 4th of July....with a little less hollywood :)

That's funny. It was my tour buddy's first time in the states this year. There was a HUGE US flag hanging in our hotel and all kinds of little flags around the premisis. He says, "Americans certainly are patriotic fuckers, aren't they? I love Canada and all, but this is fucked up!" :D

I think it's ironic that 4th of July in the US is Friday and Canada Day is on the Tues before!

It's like the warm up act for the headliners!

    USA USA USA!

Is the 4th of July analogous to Canada Day?
STB! I said hello earlier in the thread but hello again! I'm glad you got back home. Did you have a great time? I'm sorry I missed you at the pre=show. I didn't see your name tag! :(

Oh! I'm sorry. I thought you moved up there from somewhere in the Northwest?

Oh you did have a table?! See that's what I'm saying, I was there by myself so I wasn't going to walk up to people's tables and be all like 'um, hi, are you small town beck?'

If everyone was by the bar I would have felt more comfortable mingling. The only people I met were standing next to me-this couple from Belgium.

I used to live back east in Canada so I did move but not from the USA although I have always said if Maine were part of Canada I would live there :)

Haha I suppose. Steve Dunne came up to me and said "Becky?" :D

Oh! I must have not recalled the thread where you said you were moving correctly!
And Steve Dunne was there too. Man I missed everybody! D'oh!

And I was there! I had on a blue tank top and jeans.
