Ou is nuts. can't wait to see how the best offense in college football history matches up against an ok SEC defense.
  • texas would still beat ou.

Texas was a wake up game for OU. If they played now:

In Austin: OU 45 TX 35
    Neutral : OU 56 TX 36
In Norman: OU 63 TX 24
    I said Yeaaaaaaah!

And we beat Tech by 44 or something crazy.

I think Texas is a great team...it sucks it worked out the way it did...all 3 teams in the Big 12 are great....why is USC ranked higher than Texas Tech? And why is Florida going to the National Championship ahead of Texas?

One thing is for sure...the best offense in the history of college football is going up against this years Florida defense for the national title...at least they got half of it right.

I agree with this, except USC is better than Texas Tech.

really? USC lost to Oregon State...are they even ranked now?

And Tech lost to what should be the number 1 ranked team in the nation tomorrow.

Tech qb Harrel has a shot at the heisman, his numbers are insane...

USC-Tech would be a cool game.

at least... thank you for that. i personally thought midway through the season before this nonsense, that texas and ou were the best teams, and deservedly so.

i don't think ou would completely dominate texas if they face again... but neither do i think texas would have it easy. i'm glad you're not as biased as you seemed. good luck to your team against the gators. i really don't care who wins really... but good luck to you guys. in sincereness, ou is playing really great football. i bet they'd even beat the detroit lions and blow them out.

honestly, neither do i really care the next games texas will have. i never really enjoyed college football because of their stupid ranking systems.

i'm really hoping cowboys will upset pittsburg right now... that's where my heart is. i'm done stressing with college football.

OSU played out of their minds against USC

They lost 3 games that's why. They didn't lose to weak teams either. Penn St., Utah, & Oregon in a rivalry game. So they lost to 2 BCS teams and a Perennial contender.

USC is the 1st team to allow on average under 8 pts per game since the 88' Auburn Tigers.

Well at least you can root for Heisman...McCoy might win it still. Probably should if Tebow wasn't everyone's favorite, even though his numbers are terrible and he really shouldn't be compared to McCoy. Or Bradford. Or even Harrel.

    45-35
    Tech 39
    Texas 33

    OU 61
    Tech 25

all 3 teams beat each other.

if your going by score I think the OU-Tech game says it all.

This is the reason I think SC would give OU the best game. To stop OU you must have some D!

Think OU Florida will be a good game. No offense to USC fans but they just haven't had the season any of the top ranks teams have had. I actually think some teams should be ahead of them. Tech for example.

yeah I am biased, will be rooting for the Sooners all the way, but USC? they haven't done much this year. They need to schedule some tough non-conference BCS games to be taken seriously.

But I agree. You need a defense to even compete with OU, even so...this is a team that put up more points than any team since Harvard in the 1800's. They have an over 6 yard per carry average on the running game, a QB who has thrown more td's than any other QB in the NCAA. The list goes on. Even with a defense you are still going to need to put up points, something I don't think Florida, USC and team can do.

    OU National Champs!!!

Ok, his numbers may not be like last year's but he's still thrown for over 2500 yards, and rushed for nearly 600. And he's accounted for 40 TD's. Those are Heisman numbers. Its just this season, all these Big 12 QBs have had a field day shredding non-existent defenses so they seem to be the front-runners.

But to call Tebow's numbers terrible...
I am lost, I'm no guide. But I'm by your side...

    8/25/92, 10/4/96, 10/5/96, 9/1/98, 9/4/98, 8/4/00, 8/6/00, 4/15/03, 4/16/03, 10/6/04, 6/16/08

right, not a good call. he's a great qb, just doesn't have the accuracy or arm of any of the Big 12 players. I think.
