I saw him at Bonnaroo and his live show was WAY more entertaining than I thought it was going to be. I would definitely pay to see him again.

I went to his opening night in Indy. I wasn't expecting much, because I think of his albums as kind of "background" music. But I had a great time, he has such a great vibe on stage. I will definitely try and catch him on every tour from now on.

I have seen JJ about 8 times and he is awesome live. I will not be at that show because I will be seeing Ed Ved at NJ Pac. You will have a blast.
Hey, you wouldn't hire a clown to fix a leak in the jon so why do you let these hooligans tear down the biz? YEEAAHHH. I don't care if he is Mr. Notorious BIG, can he croon?

If 'the Goods' is bringing a whole bunch of girls to the shows... then, yeah.

This is true. The Girl to guy ratio at a JJ show is nice!

I have seen JJ twice live, and quite frankly i would not pay to see him.
I would see hit at a festival but not his own show.
    not worth the money.
back in 01 when he was not knows, he supported Ben harper out here in Australia and was great. Saw him at a festival in 05, and i did not think it was too good. just bland, good stuff to chill out to but i dont think it comes accross live all that well.
That is my 2 cents, and he might have got better since i last saw him!
After i saw him, all the people under 18 thought the show was the best thing ever - that was about 65% of the crowd. The other 35% was like Meh, it was ok, but there was a lot better at the festival that day!

bump...show was awesome. i have never seen that many people at the tweeter center...literally overflowing.

6th row a little right of center was cool...all general admission, which was weird.

Jack brought the goods though...lots of hot chicks too.

the 2nd opening band i thought was real good too - rogue wave? anyone know anything about em?

  • I just saw him in Berlin, great show, it's clear that he's not the most virtuous musician, but it's all about having fun :D and he does a damn good job
I feel very close to you all now; so close I could almost... loan you money. Really. it goes that deep.
