    I am!!!

Its my favorite show!! Allie looks AWESOME. She is tiny!! These people are so inspirational. I don't care how stupid the show can be, I love it.

It really motivates me. I have 27 more pounds to lose, and it makes me want to go out and finish it off, seeing Allie, I love her!

  • Aren't the real biggest losers the audience?

    :D j/k
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

you are probably right that we are losers for watching, however my sister's track coach dropped more than a hundo for his fam and I thought that was nice for him.

I think the show is inspiring. Maybe not for everyone, but anyone who eats irregularly or who is overweight - you get to see with changes, you can change your body.

I love the show, I thought Brittany looked stunning, and Ali has a determination like no other. Nice to see Roger and Bernie succeed as well.

So who won? I didn't get to see the end.

    (My guess is Allie).

Yes, Allie won. She looked amazing.
  • Ugh...I don't like shows like this. It's good that these people are working out now, but the overall message it sends to people is wrong. I never met anyone who wants to "lose weight"....people want to lose FAT, not weight. But contests like this encourage people use the wrong metrics to measure their progress.

If the show was about reducing body fat percentage without burning up lean muscle mass, I'd probably love it :p

It was actually in the end about the percentage of weight loss, not who lost the most pounds.
They gained muscle, for sure, these people worked their butts off, literally. They didn't crash diet, they learned how to eat properly and work out. Granted, they worked out all day long. I did see a segment where the trainer said they got one day a week to eat whatever they wanted. I've heard this works because you not only have something to look forward to, but your body gets confused and I think it has something to do with metabolism.

So don't knock the show, it's actually pretty inspirational.

Right, they go by percentage of WEIGHT lost, not fat...that's what I don't like about it, that's all. I know they're all probably healthier and that's good. But to the audience, it still sends the wrong message imo.

I can see this in a way - because doesn't muscle weigh more than fat?? So these people are tyring to work our, yet not build too much muscle because then their weight loss #'s won't be good.

Although some of the poeple from last night were ripped! Bernie, Chris, Alli, Mark, etc......
