Guess what mine was $85.01 and I fill up in the morning and I may just top that figure from last week.

One thing is for sure gas prices aren't going down any time soon.

I've stopped buying coffee, I make more lunches, I drive less, & am thinking about buying a bike. Luckily I don't have to drive too far to work.

its a stupidly high amount of tax yeah. strangely the ol' queen and her family are innocent in all this. the government knows it can get a huge amount of money from petrol to fund its activities, therefore they are unwilling to relent even when prices reach stupid levels

    they are cuntybags. big ones.

I heard this before but my son also heard this somewhere else so I guess this is confirmed......

Alaska has enough oil to sustain us for like 35 years even at our current (over)usage.

Alaska's government says yes to drilling it.

Alaska's citizens say yes to drilling it (probably would help their local employment)

    US says no.

check on a government site to see who is lobbying for the drilling and add your name to the cause.

someone told me that lower government is where the bills are started so one more voice couldn't hurt. If i find the link I will add it later.

You don't worry about gas? Do you make your own food, goods, and services as well?

The entire economy is driven around energy costs. So..you should worry about it.

    sometimes it's just not possible.
it takes me 40 minutes to go to work by car. By train, I should change twice and it would take 2,5 hours...

I had a right wing friend tell me there was enough oil up there to last us forever (he also wants to sell McCaribou breakfast sandwiches  ). Anyway, all the research I did pretty much said the same thing.....no one knows with any certainty how much oil could be pulled from the Artic. Could be buttloads; could be diddly.

$75.01 this morning at $3.99 a gallon, well like someone said on the radio this may change America. In that many families will cook and eat at HOME, instead of going out to eat, riding bikes, taking trains, taking buses which in turn will or may produce a more healthy America.

A high percentage of America are obest this predicament may change that.
