From what I understand everyone has passed it off as "oh that's normal." His Pediatrician, imo, isn't that good. He's super old. You would think in observing him, he would ask questions about it. Never once. It's irritating when you have to bring up a problem to someone who should recognize it.
Ugggh. That sucks.
Have you observed other 3 year olds? Do they tend to drool like he does? I would try finding someone who is familiar with childhood development and seeing them.
I would be more concerned about the lack of vocabulary and speech development than the drooling.
He is a cute kid! I hope it turns out to be nothing. He is lucky to have someone like you to love him after all he has been through!

Thanks! I don't know any other 3 year olds really. I think he does pretty good with his speech. A year ago he barely spoke at all. So he's made leaps and bounds.
I wasn't concerned with the drooling last year bc he was 2 and I figured that was somewhat to be expected. But now that he's 3 and its not getting better, I think there could be a medical reason for it.
if his nose is clogged/stuffed up (allergies, oversized adnoids, whatever) then yeah the "mouth breathing" might make him drool. I know that whenever I get a head cold, I've always got all this extra saliva I have no idea what to do with! I end up having to constantly spit.

He hasn't had a cold for 3 years! I'm telling you, its constant. It never ever stops.
