Just said goodbye to the family dog

He's very sick and will get a visit from the vet tomorrow after that it's the eternal hunting fields for him :( My bro and his old room mate took him out the dog pound when he was a puppy. His former owner wanted a guard dog, but he was too friendly.. Anyway my bro's roommate got married, the dog got 3 homes, was loved everywhere and had a brilliant life. It's hard to say goodbye to pets, people can be assholes, but pets don't mean harm, love their owners (if your good to them) and make great companions. I miss him already.. Goodbye Enzo..

    Oh I am so very sorry for your loss.The photo's are beautiful.It is dreadful when a pet dies.My family had our golden labrador Tarkus for 16 years.I had never felt such sadness when he died.

    but I totally feel what you are going through...I am so sorry, and I hope that you know that your once in a lifetime SUPER DOG was very special indeed.


    aaaand, since no one has posted it yet, I shall:
    Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

    The mere thought that his original owner dropped him off at the pound because he wouldn't be aggressive and he got 2 loving families in return that gave him a decent and good life is something that lifts my spirit..

    I doubt he/she thinks you (plural) are made of granite (typing would be pretty hard if you were) but I never read it and sent it to my bro after I read it, sappy yes, but still nice.
