If you were going out on a Wednesday night in London, what would you do?

(Yep, I'm keeping this as broad as possible.)

I'm playing in London tonight. This is me subtly trying to get some tail down to the venue! (Well, lots of good looking women to scream and whoop in between songs, anyway.) :D

I would have some fish and chips and wash them down with a Guinness.
Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

I'm a veggie, so no fish for me, but I'll do the chips and Guinness in your honour! :)

    I didn't know that! :)
Not that I know much about you anyway.
Can you order just the chips?
I was a veggie for years..about 14..then one day just really craved a chicken roll sandwich. :o
I hope you have a great time at your show!

the chips are fried in animal fat and Guinness is tested on zebras... ya cruel fucker
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

You can indeed order the chips alone! There are probably more traditional English fish and chip shops in the States now, than here in the UK!

I wish someone would tell me where they are. :(
Though I have to say I am not really into fried food.
    But...if I were in London tonite..that is what I would have. :)
Or if I can find a place tonite, I will.
Will a filet-o-fish from McDonald's be ok to eat in honor of your show?

You need to play a gig in London, Ontario, Canada and then some of us on this side of the pond could see you live as opposed to memorex.
You've changed your place in this world!

    hmm lets see
    shop for awhile
stop in and have a ploughmans lunch somewhere (stilton, not cheddar please)
maybe stop at the hardy and fishsport shops for some UK fishing tackle
maybe get one of those really old fashioned shaves and a cuban cigar
    the tate modern maybe
millenium wheel (yes I am from out of town)
the abbey because standing over Darwins grave gives me the chills every time
    (same with churchills war room)
get some kick ass vegetarian indian food for dinner (the St. John is on my list of places to eat-but Ill defer to your veggieness)

and then go see your band while enjoying some fine UK pints

Dinner in Covent Garden, then shopping for music in Camden, then pub crawling!
drivingrl: "Will I ever get to meet Gwen Stefani?"
kevinbeetle: "Yes. When her career washes up and her and Gavin move to Galveston, you will meet her at Hot Topic shopping for a Japanese cheerleader outfit.

    Next!"

In the spring I will be taking my first trip to London. Can't wait. I'd imagine I'd be sitting in a pub somewhere drinking a pint of Guinness with my friends.

  • I'd go to the Pride of Paddington and have a Guinness and their vegetarian pub lunch then amble on down to the Finsbury show. :D

I liked the little Venice section near Paddington station, too. Nice place to walk around.

Aha,,,, Fins!!! Denver Street! There's a whole row of guitar shops and I wandered through a bunch of them with Swede. Great spot for weird old geetars!

There's more advice from a non Londoner. :D

If I were out tonight, right now I'd be eating chips that I bought on the way to the pub where Fins is playing. I'd then be whooping and throwing my undies to sexy fins while he plays his songs (oops.. sorry.. not that kind of gig :o). Oh well.. and then I would have a pint of guiness with him.

That would be my Wednesday night. Unfortunately, I'm at home, just had dinner and will probably try for an early to bed because I have a cold and I'm tired and I have to get up at 5.30am! :(
