I still have my Oyster card from my November trip, but don't think it will top-off enough to get me there from Los Angeles!

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I actually might be able to make this one, depending on if if I'm busy or not.
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"

Expensive, yes. But I reckon a lot would've happily coughed up the regular £40 for a ticket in the aircraft hanger that is Wembley arena. Ok, this is £75 but surely will be much more pleasurable to see him play in. I'd happily take the same option next time PJ came here.
And last time I was there it was still called the Odeon, that was....oh, a long time ago.

considering that I never paid more than £30, including booking fee, to see a gig in that venue.. (QOTSA plays there next month: £22.5 face.. £28.50 with all the damn fees  )
and it's £85 with the fees really..

and Wembley ain't bad at all..been very happy with the sounds in the concerts I saw there this year (I'd never been before PJ)...now Earl's Court is another afair entirely!! not sure I'd even go see PJ if they played there..certainly would campaign to get it moved!
