    its not the drumming i watch or even listen to. tis the actual gorilla. the mannerisms and whatnot. personally im of the opinion that its NOT a real gorilla. but some people think otherwise. if someone can settle this for sure, theres a family block in it for them. ;):D

    Nope still the gorilla.

    They changed the trucks one this year as well. Was originally Queen (don't stop me now) and is now I think Bon Jovi (Livin' on a Prayer)

    I think i'm the only person who thinks the gorilla advert is pointless, has no connection to chocolate and who doesn't even raise so much as smirk when it comes on the telly box.
    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    He kept footing the hi-hat....I was hoping he would cross his arm over and start tapping that thing with some wrist...and some bell ride with a slight head nod would have been nice.

    I've come to expect more finesse from drum playing gorillas...
