I was three years old and I was on a little boat on a lake with my two sisters and one of my father's friend.
I tried to cath something on the water and I fell off the boat. I also drowned. I rememebr and I still fear water...
Are you typing this from heaven? How long were you under for and did you take in any water?

This thread is really interesting
no, everything went well. My father jumped into the water and took me out.
I think it wasn't long, but at 3 years old, this is something you remember...

Haha. Yeah I can totally understand.
I dont know what Id do without the water - completely opposite to me my first memory was trying to 'surf' down a staircase.
i was 19 months old and my Mom was changing my diaper while i was on my sister's bed in the room that her and i shared. i probably only remember it because it was the last time that i saw my Mom for 6-7 months.
because after that i went to live with my Aunt Elsie (she was actually my Mom's best friend) in Maryland during that time...i remember a bunch of stuff from the time that i lived with her...but the thing that sticks out is her rocking me to sleep everynight in her rocking chair and playing with her curls until i drifted off
my grandmother lying in a lounge chair under the crabapple tree that used to be outside my childhood home...and bringing her a glass of water in these big orange plastic cups we used to have. i had to be just about 3 b/c she died when i was 3. i also remember my aunt rose living with us for awhile and me going into her room early and lying on her bed with her until she decided to get up. also pretty damn young then, under 5.
The 2 earliest memories I have are from when I was around 3:
Being in the hospital after having my tonsils taken out. The nurses kept trying to give me eggs but I didn't like them, so gave them to the kid in the bed next to me I still hate eggs.
Being at a pool and seeing lots of kids swimming and thinking I could do that also - I had never been in a pool before or swam........ I ran in before my parents could grab me, and I almost drowned - I probably wasn't under long, but it felt like forever. I remember being under the water and seeing all the other kids feet kicking. To this day, I won't go in a pool or the ocean further than up to my knees. I am terrified of the water.
