one of the greatest feelings ever. what i live for. but one of the most elusive and fleeting feelings ever, as the only way to feed or satiate it, is to go to more and more concerts, listen to more and more music, watch more and more movies, in hopes, that of the 5 cd's you bought today at the cd shop, or the 4 movies you rented, or tonights concert, just one of them will make you feel 'that' way. make you feel alive. give you goosebumps.

the feeling that after a mere 3 minute song, or a 2 hour movie or a 45 minute cd, you feel different, altered, changed. that feeling is disconcerting, scary, but also a hell of a rush

  • Agreed. And sometimes you'll listen to something or watch something over and over and it won't happen. Then, all of a sudden, whether it's because you're changing personal situation at the time or what have you, it just happens. Awesome. And that's why I don't understand people who don't really listen to music, that is outside of radio and popular stuff. Same for good, thought provoking movies.

this is the main reason why music is so special. nothing else evokes this chemical/physical response BUT music...at least for me...and it mostly happens when i listen to bootlegs(live recordings)

if i could capture that endorphine/? and bottle it i wud b uber rich

i just cant get enough of those damn goosebumps ;)

I am such a bad PJ fan, I can't believe I've never seen this clip before........... goosebumps on my goosebumps. Completely present moment, full attention........ I love this, thankyou :)
  • Mine would probably be the anticipation right before the band hits the stage, you look at your watch and you know it’s only minutes away and you stand up and start getting really antsy and then the lights go down and the place goes crazy.

    GOD I LOVE THAT FEELING.
Don't come closer or I'll have to go

Oh, and there are many goosebump inducing moments in music, both live and on cd, for me
