Anyone else psyched for Indiana Jones?

Shia Labeouf is one of the most talented actors of our generation and Cate Blanchett is gonna make an appearance as well. I am pumped for the movie. Anytime Spielberg does something I am compelled to go and check it out, and of course George Lucas had a part in the making or the writing of the movie as well.
Should be a hell of a movie, and sort of relating to my other thread, it should make a boatload of cash when it opens May 22.

like i said in the star wars thread... dont really see the point in making a 4th indy... the trilogy ended so nicely before... looks like this one might end up just being a parody of what indy once was... i HATE shia and was really upset when i heard he was gonna be in it, but spielberg seems to think hes the next tom hanks (BULLSHIT)... i hope they dont overdo it with the special effects like lucas did with the new star wars... stick to old school nazi melting techniques please! all in all im exciting for the movie despite its pointlessness and the risk of it ruining a perfect trilogy... harrison ford is still a sexy bad ass tho

yep
I've actually quite surprised myself with how excited I am about this movie...
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
I was kinda hoping they'd keep it "old-school" too, but judging from that trailer, i have a feeling we need to get ready for a overdone CGI-fest.

great article on the movie and franchise but if you don't want anything ruined for you do not read POSSIBLE SPOILERS!

Might as well go ahead and get it over with now....Connery will most likely not be in it. He's been in a semi-retirement (who could blame him after "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen") since 2003. However, it would be a pleasant surprise.
I don't know what to think of the fourth movie. I've always said that many have Star Wars, but I have Indiana Jones. It is my favorite trilogy of all time, and I am afraid this movie could ruin the entire thing much in the same way that I now have to disavow all knowledge of "Alien Resurrection" but still get pissed when I see "Alien."
Yeah....never understood why "Temple" gets such a bad rap. Yeah, it's not as good as "Raiders" and "Crusade," but it's good on its own merit.

Agreed.
