Shia Labeouf is one of the most talented actors of our generation and Cate Blanchett is gonna make an appearance as well. I am pumped for the movie. Anytime Spielberg does something I am compelled to go and check it out, and of course George Lucas had a part in the making or the writing of the movie as well.

Should be a hell of a movie, and sort of relating to my other thread, it should make a boatload of cash when it opens May 22.

It should be interesting. I watched all three of them not too long ago. Man, Temple of Doom was horrible! As long as the new one is better than that, it'll be worth the price of a ticket.

temple of doom was awesome! dont know what youre talking about!

like i said in the star wars thread... dont really see the point in making a 4th indy... the trilogy ended so nicely before... looks like this one might end up just being a parody of what indy once was... i HATE shia and was really upset when i heard he was gonna be in it, but spielberg seems to think hes the next tom hanks (BULLSHIT)... i hope they dont overdo it with the special effects like lucas did with the new star wars... stick to old school nazi melting techniques please! all in all im exciting for the movie despite its pointlessness and the risk of it ruining a perfect trilogy... harrison ford is still a sexy bad ass tho :D

    yep :o

I've actually quite surprised myself with how excited I am about this movie...
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

I was kinda hoping they'd keep it "old-school" too, but judging from that trailer, i have a feeling we need to get ready for a overdone CGI-fest.

Might as well go ahead and get it over with now....Connery will most likely not be in it. He's been in a semi-retirement (who could blame him after "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen") since 2003. However, it would be a pleasant surprise.

I don't know what to think of the fourth movie. I've always said that many have Star Wars, but I have Indiana Jones. It is my favorite trilogy of all time, and I am afraid this movie could ruin the entire thing much in the same way that I now have to disavow all knowledge of "Alien Resurrection" but still get pissed when I see "Alien."

Yeah....never understood why "Temple" gets such a bad rap. Yeah, it's not as good as "Raiders" and "Crusade," but it's good on its own merit.

i know i know... but if there was a project i could see him coming out of retirement for it would this one... and if he did i would think it would be kept under wraps until the premiere... he still looks good for his age... and god knows hes a great actor... my fingers are still crossed... as long as its not done in a super gimmicky fashion... theres already rumors of shia being indy and marions son... god i hope not... that kid is annoying... and transformers sucked
