Anyone wear a casual blazer?

Seems like within the last few years, this trend has become cemented into fashion. There isn't a clothing store that doesn't sell them.

I had one for a while and wore it maybe once or twice at the most. Even though it was a "casual" blazer, it didn't feel casual to be wearing a blazer. I felt like I was at work or going to a wedding.

I just think it's kind of weird that fashion has taken a turn in that direction. Next thing you know we'll all be wearing ties again like they did in the 1950's.

I don't, it's just too much for me. I don't get the point of a casual blazer with a T-shirt underneath, especially in Orange County where a lot of people run rampant with them.

I prefer a nice track jacket instead.

Is it really making a comeback? I guess I didnt notice. Anyway I had to wear one to school (unifrom). I was not a fan then, still not now.

Jeans and a T shirt will always be best. even on weddings.

School uniform blazers aren't exactly casual, are they? After all, they're part of a uniform.

Corduroy blazers are along the lines of what I consider to be "casual." Khaki blazers are popular nowadays too.

hmmm, thats true. I mean about them not being casual (school blazers)

I dunno, I dont see many casual blazers in stores, well brooks brothers. Khaki blazers? I'm not sure about, I did see a nice Corduroy blazer at urban outfitters.

anyway not really my thing, I guess the whole unifrom just turned me off of them. Casual or not.

But I think they do go well with some people.

Sport coats and blazers are friggin sweet. I have about 5. My favorite is my gaudy plaid tweed one and my corduroy one with suede elbow patches.

My almost 4 yr old wears one sometimes. :p
The first time he wore it to school, his teachers said, "Nice jacket Holden" and he said "It's not a jacket. It's a blazer" LOL
It is a khaki colored blazer from the Gap and it looks awesome on him.
