Call of Duty online players?

I just bought the original Call of Duty for PC. I haven't played any video games in several years, as online gaming became a bad habit for me.

Anyhow, so I understand that Call of Duty is in its 4th version now. Does anyone know if the original one still is played online?

Thanks.

I recently found out that there's still a huge devotees to the original Half-Life 1st person shooter game. Streampowered.com offers a variety of matches online for multi-players. I recently joined and played it but keeps getting my ass whooped. I haven't played it in nearly over a decade.

The original Half-Life was probably the stepping stone for multi-player 1st shooters online games like Halo.

...and I just looked up Streampowered's online for COD and it's available.
if you have the original Call Of Duty CDcase with the key code #, you can play it for free instead of purchasing it.

good luck and hope you kick ass. I sucked at my return to Half-Life. :p

This is my screenname at Streampowered "GlorifiedGuy," I'm usually at the Half-Life's Counter-Strike and Death Match.

I should be an easy kill though since I suck now. :(

  • So, I just downloaded steam and created an account to give it a look through and when I opened the "MY GAMES" tab, I have Team Fortress 2 that has yet to be installed. Free Game?

Click on a game and then click "Install" at the bottom of the browser.

I am. I'm going to assume it's a demo. I'm probably not going to play it more than a couple of hours though. I'm more into gaming console...less shit to worry about.
  • There's still a shitload of modded out Unreal tournament 1servers....how many years ago was that 6,7,8?

if you use your key code from the original Half-Life disc, the free games you get are: counter-strike, deathmatch classic, half-life, blue-shield, opposing forces, team fortress 2, tf classic, ricochet, and day of defeat.

i've tried the first 7 and they were not demos. never heard of ricochet or dod before so didnt play those.
