    hmmm........we have baked beans but im not sure they are living in tomato sauce. :eek: I dont eat them. And i HATE the smell of toast even SLIGHTLY burnt. Thats a weird combo. for ME. :D

    I know when I lived Stateside I couldn't get Heinz baked beans so I bought what looked closest (vegetarian beans ... the other ones had pork in) and they were vile :o ... so I don't think beans and toast is quite as popular as it is over here. In fact it's what I ordered at a cafe for brunch on Sunday :cool:

    EDIT: I just remebered an episode of The Osbournes where Jack made his friend (the Osbournes obviously get their beans shipped in bulk) that British staple a GIANT bowl of beans surrounded by slices of toast soldiers ... YUM!
    So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?
