eating expired dried goods

A former roommate of mine left behind a whole bunch of dried foods like cereal, granola bars, popcorn...etc. Pretty much all of it expired several months ago. I seem to be OK so far.

they'll be nutritious though i suppose... but I wonder if they can exist inside of you and eat you from the inside out? imagining being slowly killed by a tribe of weevils and all because you wanted to eat expired popcorn... yuk!!.

Weevils wobble but they don't fall down.

Glad you are feeling ok. The amount of preservatives in processed food allows them to be edible for far longer than the date on the box.
And there is nothing grosser than finding bugs in the flour.
