We have the air conditioner blowing in the house right now and I have to say that I prefer the crisp, artificial cool temperature produced by the air conditioner to the same temperature from the weather.

Is anyone else of that opinion?

I'm very hot natured....so I even need a fan going in the winter. My air is always on 70!! I agree with ya...even if it is 70 outside, I would much rather have the air on!!

When the air inside is cooler than the air outside, humidity goes up inside.. maybe you like it cool and humid?

All I know is that I woke up today and it was 88 outside. My house was about 68 degrees. It was sooo nice.

my favorite seasons are spring and fall because it is cool at night and so comfortable to sleep in. but as I have recently discovered I think I like it colder at night because even in the winter I have the window open to sleep as long as the heat is not on and pouring money out the window.

so that said, real cold vs fake cool, for me........

    wow, that was profound.......

    hmmm...
My ac is set to 78 and by the time the ac kicks on, it's pretty miserable in the house. That said, when I was at work tonight, I noticed that it was 90 on the deck and that felt pretty nice...so, I don't know... I guess it depends on if I'm inside or outside and if I've been drinking white or red wine or no wine at all.
Tonight I shared a bottle of Husch chenin blanc.
I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.

People who prefer artificial air to natural air are a little weird methinks :p

personally, i would rather have all the windows open than have the air conditioner on. You ever notice how it smells weird in peoples homes that always use the ac? its true. take a big wiff. ew. :D

i prefer natural cool temps. however, when it is NOT naturally cool, i LOVE a/c. my preference is central a/c...b/c then it is not frigid cold in some ares and hot in others, as i find with window units...but a nice, comfortable overall temp of coolness.

i was spoiled. i grew up with central air, then when we first bought our home, none. yikes. got a bunch of window units, and really....hated it. maybe 4? years ago...or 5, really can't remember now :p...finally got central a/c and it is BLISS.

so while my preference is 'natural'...when mother nature does not comply, hell yes give me the beauty of a/c!

    :D

I prefer the natural cool temperatures.

However, for where I live that only happens one week in March and one week in November or else it's either too hot and humid or too cold.

When it is 104 degrees outside (like this past weekend) I need the air conditioner!

    I prefer the nice natural cool air...well...because I have no a/c. :(

I do have a pool though! So I just pretty much live in that..although sometimes it gets hard to sleep in the summer when there's a heat wave.

Yeah, you can't sleep in your pool!

We have to turn off the air at around 10pm :( Thank god for ceiling fans! I am going to get another fan from Costco too--should be nice :)

Besides cooling, air conditioners actually dehumidify the air, so at the same temperature, the reason the poster probably enjoys the AC'd air over natural air is that it's LESS humid.
