I have always used Microsoft Money. Now I have moved to a mac and was wondering what you guys were using (if anything :D) to track your finances.

I saw they have a Money for Mac for 39 dollars, something called MoneyDance for 39, or Quicken for 69.

Anyone has any feedback on any of these?

i have Excel on my mac...

i wonder if you can get Open Office for mac?

that'd be the best thing... i know Office costs approx $160-$200.

Open Office is free though (for pc's anyway) so see if they have a Mac version.

it comes with Word and Access type software.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I've used Quicken for years. I had used Msft Money and switched to Quicken and liked it better (now I can't remember why really as that was about 4 years ago).

ok, I see there is a budget template. But how about tracking expenses by category?

Also, for you Quicken enthusiasts... is it really so good that it's worth paying almost twice as much for?!

I used Quicken for a number of years, but I'm interested more in check register/Account tracking as well as budgeting and started using a free, online resource called ClearCheckbook for the past few months.
