will be here in about 7 hours. If it's a boy, we do not have a name for it. If it's a girl, we do. So I guess that pretty much guarantees that it will be a boy

I had the boy's name picked out when I first heard we were having a third....the girls name wasn't until after she was born when we finally chose (out of 3 possibilities). We didn't want to know the sex.....wanted a surprise....and she kicks ass

why are you posting?!?!?! Get some rest.you'll need it!

  • long story short...I pretty much can't sleep without a muscle relaxant or an Ambien. And I would have had to take that at 7 or 8 PM to get up at 4:45 AM. We have to be at the hospital by 5:30. It will be Dunkin Donuts coffee all day and night for me

You must be thrilled beyond words! Which is of course why you're here... Unable to sleep. Congrats in advance! Happy thoughts you way!

What is the girl name? First kid? Keeping it a surprise is hard work, eh? Sorry so many questions. I get excited to hear about expecting parents :)
  • Yeah, i'm pretty excited. This is our second child. jack turned 2 on sunday. If it's a girl, she will be named Sheridan Elizabeth, in honor of my mom who pased aeay last may. Her name was Anne Elizabeth Sheridan. For me, I had to keep it a surprise. no way did I want to know beforehand. Though i guess I have to come up with a name if it's a boy. I also have to put the bassinet back together tonight

Oh duh... Your post says # 2. Silly me!

Putting baby stuff together... That will exhaust you in itself... Good luck! And load up on that coffee!

For our third we had it all planned out for her to be induced in the morning (3 days before due date)....The baby had other plans. 3 hours after I went to sleep, my wife was ready to go....it was like the movies....barely awake but fully aware...calling someone at 2am to come to the house to watch my other kids...no jacket....etc

    Good luck!

  • I'll know more when #2 comes home. I do remember from #1 that there is a law in NY state that requires parents to watch a movie on shaken baby syndrome. I just remember being given some Similac (okay, I really just took it, it wan't so much given)

Well my favorite boys names right now are
    Henry
    Oliver
    Arlo

Congrats!!! And take care after your section. I am guessing that you are having one since you know when the baby will be born. I was miserable after mine. I never dreamed I would have one so I was not prepared at all. I had already gone thru childbirth 6 times, a few times all natural, and never thought I would need to be sectioned. I told my husband if we ever had another baby that I would somehow deliver it thru my nose before I had another c section LOL!!!

My 2nd son is called Jahred. We say it the same though :)

And my youngest is Leo. A cute name for a cute kid.

Really though, it doesn't matter what you call him, you'll love it because its his name :)

As long as we're voting how about Zachary.

That's my son's name. It's not that common and yet it won't get him his ass kicked on the playground. Win-Win on all fronts.

    Congrats by the way.
