If anyone gets hit by a car at the Hartford show and I see you, I will help.
    :)

    That was awful....
Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away

    wow.

It looks like the guy was going to cross halfway (at the double yellow) and wait for the other lane to clear (I do this all the time) but 2 jackholes couldn't wait or be bothered to slow down and wait for the car in front of them to turn so they went around and hit the guy. It does look like that lady called the police but there were too many people** standing around doing nothing...jesus h

    **assholes
If a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?

I agree to a certain extent. People who drive most often times think they own the road and shouldn't be bothered to stop for people who cross streets

i know what you're saying. to add a bit more to this though, park st. isn't exactly a cool area. this guy was in his 70s...prolly local...and if you look closely, there were 2 cars that passed that SUV illegally in a effed up game of car chase and this poor soul caught the worst of it. those kids will get theirs someday. poor guy is freakin' paralyzed!

Probably a bit his fault but common sense for drivers goes out the window once they get in the car. It is fucked up what happened and they didn't even stop to check, that's low, very low. I hope they get hit like that and left for dead.

on a side note. . . love your location :)

I saw that on the Today Show today....confirmation that society sucks sometimes. I hope to God I never get hurt in public.

Oh, by the way... He broke his neck and has massive paralysis, so if anyone tried to help and moved him they could have killed him... I myself would not have done anything because I have no training in first aid (besides knowing enough NOT to move a critically injured person...)

And people do care, there were four 911 calls within 30 seconds of the accident... (according to the local news...)

ah..well I did think to myself with everyone having cell phones. But that is good. But you are right about hurting someone..I have first aid training and I still would be cautious..but I know I would do as much as possible to keep them out of harms way.
