yep....it's a mess up here in the san gabriel valley...they might have to cancel the rose parade there's so much snow.....:p :D
AWW! I forgot about the Rose Parade! We used to go every year when I was a kid. We'd borrow my grandparents camper, park on the street. Dad and I would hang out waiting for midnight so we could move our lawnchairs to the front line for the parade (mom and baby bro would sleep through it all). Then wake up early and watch the parade...good times!!
Funny story, actually!!
The parade route is a total madhouse NYE and people would cruise up and down basically partying. Well, one chick had a sign that she would hold up to cars that read "HONK IF YOU'RE HORNEY". People were honking their horns like crazy. I was little (like 7 or so) and asked my dad over and over what "horney" meant...he never did tell me.

Yeah...looking back it probably wasn't the ideal environment for a good lil Catholic girl. I was so young and sheltered at that point.
