I just adopted her today from The Humane Society. They think she is about a year and a half. She's a terrific dog!! So far appears to be house broken. Loves to play with the ball outside. And she will lay down and is calm indoors.

The cat is not real happy, to say the least, but she'll get over it I am sure.

I'll have to check that out.

I named her Gravy because my next door neighbor (and really good friends) have a golden retriever named Biscuit. So, now we have Biscuit and Gravy.

Next, we're trying to talk my other next door neighbor into getting a dog and naming it Sausage or Hash Brown.

To furthermore promote my local Humane Society and encourage you too to check out your local animal shelters, I just wanted to say that Gravy is THE BEST dog!! She is completely house trained. Not hyper at all in doors. LOVES to play fetch with the ball outside, and she will play all day. Gets along really well with my cat, Penelope. And Penelope has quickly learned that Gravy can be trusted. Not a single accident in the house!! No whining, no excessive barking. She is just the most well adjusted dog with the most lovable and playful disposition. Her and the neighbor dog Biscuit get along like, well, Biscuits and Gravy! They have been hanging out in the front yard together for the last couple days. And just like Biscuit, Gravy doesn't stray ANYWHERE! She stays right with me, after just a day and a half with me.

I am very excited to take her on a 4 night camping trip in a week and a half to Lake Cushman with a bunch of friends. She's gonna love it!
