That was a fun one. I realized I hadn't read King's 11-22-63, so am reading that now and am almost done. Another good one from Stephen King.

Finished 'running with scissors' by Augusten Burroughs.

I was in the bookstore and for some reason I picked up this book after searching 'social change'. This memoir is definitely about 'social change'. haha. What a trip!

Was stuck on 2 flights on Saturday and had good quiet time to read. Read 1 book (they are short) on each flight and liked the both.
The Gaiman is a beautiful work -- the guy can write with such versatility, just never know what you are going to get....but you can trust it to be good.
The Drop was fun, you could tell he wrote it to be a movie but I still enjoyed it. Not nearly his best work, but entertaining.
Started the 3rd book in the Century Trilogy, Edge of Eternity, last night. Looking forward to it!

I agree, Neil Gaiman is fantastic and that particular book is a little gem.

Am I the last person in the world to read this book? It's amazing. And I'd never heard of it. (I wrote about it on my blog - if you go to my website you can read the piece.) "THE great time- travel story," says Stephen King.

And on your recommendation I have also downloaded it to my kindle tonight and hope to start soon.

At the urging of a friend, I just re-read The Fionavar Tapestry, which I last read as a teenager. Took a while to get into it, and I can't really handle Kay's overblown prose any more, but I did enjoy it in the end.
